Below are a list of our festival rules and regulations. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions.
Follow the general patron parking signs to enter the parking garage. $5 per car per day or $8 for both Friday and Saturday
Handicap parking available
Please ask a festival volunteer if you require a golf cart to take you from the parking garage to the main gate
Pre-ordered Eventbrite tickets can be printed out or pulled up on your smartphone to be scanned prior to entering
NO outside food or beverage is allowed on festival grounds
- Our loyal food vendors continue to come back year after year because of the great turn out they receive from our attendees. Bringing outside food is NOT allowed. Attendees are welcome to leave the festival grounds to go get food or have a picnic as long as you are not eating inside the festival
- Coolers and/or outside beverages are NOT allowed. Proceeds from our beverage sales support our Scottish Home and Caledonian House
Attendees with a weekend pass will receive a wristband upon entering
One-day pass holders can receive a stamp to come and go from the festival
Strollers allowed. Strollers are not allowed inside the Whisky & Spirits Tent. Children that can be carried can join the parents/guardians inside the Whisky & Spirits Tent.
PERSONAL TENTS or CANOPIES
There will be a designated area for anyone who brings a tent or canopy to the festival. Space is NOT guaranteed. Tent and/or canopies are ONLY ALLOWED in assigned area. You will be asked to move if you have set-up a tent/canopy anywhere outside that area on the festival grounds. Tents will NOT be allowed to be set up at the entertainment tent. For general patrons, the designated area will be at the Heavy Athletics field.
Bring your furry friends along! Please keep them leashed and pick-up after them
Please be respectful of the other festival attendees and do NOT smoke inside/under any tents and please pick up after yourself. Cigars can be smoked near the Whisky & Spirits Tent by the Updown Cigar Tent
Anyone wishing to purchase alcohol, enter the Whisky & Spirits Tent or participate in one of the Master Classes needs to present their ID at the festival to receive the proper wristband.
Festival attendees must purchase beverage tickets to redeem for beer, cider, soda, water and/or Gatorade. Beverages cannot be purchased directly with cash

ATM will be on-site for all festival attendees
The festival will move forward rain or shine. Itasca Fire Department will be monitoring weather radar and the necessary evacuation plans will be put into place if needed. For extreme weather move to the parking garages and follow the directors of the festival volunteers and staff. DO NOT use any tent as a shelter in extreme weather conditions
LOST & FOUND
For any missing items, please go to the Chicago Scots tent. To report any issues or concerns during the festival, you may do so at the Chicago Scots tent or find an available festival volunteer. Chicago Scots will do our best to recover any misplaced items, but we are not responsible for any items lost of left on festival grounds
Parking for VIP ticket holders is available at 150 Pierce Rd.
VIP wristbands will be given to all ticket holders upon checking into the VIP Tent
VIP ticket holders will also receive their beer/cider tickets when they check-in at the VIP Tent
Beer/Cider tickets can be used at any tent on the festival grounds that offers it
Free water, soda and Gatorade can ONLY be asked for/received inside the VIP Tent
HEAVY ATHLETICS FIELD
Please be kind to your fellow festival attendees and do not save space for an extended period of time. If you wish to set-up a canopy or pop up tent you MUST do so in the assigned area. We understand the want to get out of the sun and enjoy the activities taking place on the field, but we must be mindful of all attendees and not obstruct views.
